This hotel is only about 4 months old so it is bound to be in great shape, but the staff was extremely friendly. Especially a young woman who worked Sunday morning at the breakfast buffet. She greeted everyone like she had known them for years! She was so natural and happy. That is not something you can teach. Great hire!

Room was clean

Clean room, great breakfast.

Very attentive front desk staff. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Very clean property. Great choices in the included breakfast.

Excellent place to stay! Good location near ISU and los of amenities. Stayed in the 2Q suite. Large enough to have dining table. High ceilings. Larger bathroom. Super comfy single armchair. Quiet at night even on weekend. Very accommodating with our two dogs. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, kind and went the extra mile every time. Laundry facility and jacuzzi were awesome. Breakfast area is large with plenty of seating (unless it’s ISU move in week!). Decent hot breakfast. Good coffee. Will...

Clean, comfortable, and convenient place to sleep.

We enjoy staying at this property whenever we are in Ames visiting our college student daughter. The property is new, clean, well serviced and has Starbucks beverages and snacks in the cafe downstairs. It is located just off Duff Avenue, the major shopping and dining street in Ames, and is also close to several apartment complexes where students live. Parking is right outside the front door.

Clean, quiet, convenient to Iowa State University (10 mins away).

The staff here at this hotel is amazing! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and modern. Breakfast was wonderful. We will come back here again.

The hotel is a beautiful old building with a comfortable and inviting look. The staff was friendly and personable. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house. My room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, and a desk. Amenities included a fridge, microwave, TV, and a jacuzzi tub. A fantastic breakfast is included with your stay. I could go on and on about how I liked everything about this place, but it really just boils down to this: they got all of the details right, and...

Our room was fantastic, in suite bathroom. Family room & breakfast area was nicely set up, plenty of space. We had taken the time to walk the property, very relaxing, peaceful & tranquil. On our way out on Sunday we were able to purchase some vegetables and farm fresh eggs. I wish I new about this B&B years ago when my daughter was a freshman at ISU, we would have stayed her every time. The family, Peter & Denise were wonderful to speak with. This is our new "go to" place, we will comeback...

Had a most enjoyable two night stay. The staff was pleasant and so accommodating.!

We were able to walk to the Iowa State Football game from the hotel. About a 30 minute walk. Helpful people. Breakfast wasn't huge but was appreciated

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The shower didn't work when we checked in but was fixed within 20 minutes of notifying the staff. The pool area was huge and the whirlpool was very relaxing. The only suggestion I would make is to figure out how the crickets are making their way into the pool area. The lobby area/breakfast area was a great place to relax without having to sit in your room. If I'm ever in the area again I will be staying here!

Honestly this was one of the best hotels I think I have ever stayed at! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever laid on! Breakfast was phenomenal. Super clean place. You guys are doing amazing
