「The Hotel is a little dated but the norm for a town like Coldstream. The food was good, the breakfast excellent and the staff really cared about the clients. We enjoyed it and the locals were friendly and the service for our dog excellent.」

「On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. There is a 24 bar located en route to the rooms and an Aperol was £18!!! scandalous. 「I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. 「Had a 2 night stay. Booked this property as it had an elevator and travelling with an elderly parent with reduced mobility. On arrival late in the evening we learned that both elevators were out of order. We were on the 3rd floor with no other suitable rooms available. With assistance from staff and another guest we made it to the room. We were able to switch to a lower room the next morning. All staff were very apologetic and went out of their way to help us make the stay positive...
