「I have been in this area a lot and never gave any attention to the hotel. I am moving out of my apartment that is a few miles away and did not like the look or reputation of several hotels in the area. I did book another cheaper hotel in the area. 「Soap dispensers were empty. I requested replacement and never received one. Asked the second time the next day and the receptionist brought it to me and there were no other supporting staff to assist her. Only one waiter in the restaurant. Menu is not great either.」

「Advertised as a boutique hotel with continental breakfast available - it’s NOT in our experience. No breakfast available. Beverages only available in reception area and consist of tea bags and instant coffee, with water from a thermos flask! Decor is tired, carpets stained, windows can’t be opened, air con not working ( control not fixed properly to the wall), light switch in upper hall of the coach house not working, resulting in light needing to be left on all night. 「I and my colleague, We had a great stay at Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills-North. The breakfast was good — omelettes, sausage, potatoes, bagels , DIY waffles, with some healthy options available too. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The location is perfect — just next to the outlet, and it’s very convenient for dining and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel!」

「I made a last minute booking for a 2 night stay here and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is relatively new so I was immediately relieved as I have allergies and can’t often tolerate some of the older hotels. The front desk employee Ciara was lovely and efficient. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I lost my room key while running around and she remembered me immediately and easily able to set me up with a new one.」
