"Lively place to visit .few shops , lively restaurants and pubs . The hotel was perfect for our overnight dtop . Very comfortable clean rooms .staff were extremely friendly, including checking in , behind the bar , and during breakfast , couldnt have been better ! Will definitely return and recommend if in the area again ."

"Room 103/104 The courtyard rooms are right opposite or next to a very large fan/generator I think. And that kicks in periodically and loudly throughout the night. The breakfast was a bit of a let down to be fair. Seemed to be only one chap running around serving the drinks. The room itself is fab, and spacious, but the bed creaks, a lot, so you wake each other up turning in your sleep. Amersham itself is a lovely place and the hotel is really nice. I would still recommend, but just avoid the courtyard rooms and skip the hotel breakfast and maybe opt one of the lovely nearby cafes."

"For the price you pay don’t expect the Ritz. It was very basic and did the job as just an overnight stay.property was clean. No staff around in morning to top up coffee pots, replenish drinking juice, plates and cups where all mismatched not all matching. Bit of TLC in the right places and would have gave it 5 stars for the price."
