「perfect for my friend」

「A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board. Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional...

「The property, where do I start?! It was amazing! From the initial walk in it had a wow factor about it, we met James, he was very helpful, with the convenience of being next door if needed. With 3 large bedrooms, one with an en-suite, cupboards and storage space, we had ample space to use. I would highly recommend this cottage, the added extras made the trip too! 」

「I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. 「Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. Overall we were not unhappy but would not have wanted to stay for a third night and would be question if we would use this chain again if this is typical of all their...
