「The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the staff at the reception were quite distant, whereas in a boutique hotel, a warmer and more welcoming attitude would be expected. As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area.」

「We did not bring any dogs with us so I was worried that the room would smell like dog or have hair. This place was spotless! So comfortable. We felt right at home!!! We had room 12 which was very spacious. Could definitely fit 4 people. Enough room for suitcases. The staff was exceptionally pleasant. This place was very centrally located too! Only had to take a few Ubers while here.」

「Breakfast was good and fresh each morning. Nice touch for sure. Area is extremely walkable with restaurants nearby. The bed was really comfortable. Shower in the Lark Suite is tricky to figure out but a lot of water pressure. While we were there the hot water in the shower did not work very well. We let them know and hopefully it is fixed by now.」

「Great location. Very nice and attentive staff. Cute and cozy. Loved the fresh baked cookies and the butter breakfast croissants. If we are ever back in Newport we will definitely stay there again. Our first trip to Rhode Island and it was fantastic.」
