"In May 2026, I booked a Superior Double Room with a window (windows have external fixed louvres with no view) five day stay at Hotel Classic by Venue. Don't be fooled by the online photos of the rooms that are taken with a wide-angle camera lens to make the rooms look bigger than they are. They are tiny! Barely enough legroom between the end of your bed and the desk! Yet, the shower stall is large and lots of room for two people! If you want a good sleep with no street noise, be sure to bring earplugs, which I always do. ... ALSO, the staff and management are *very* courteous, accommodating and helpful! I never felt ignored for my comfort and enjoyment, and staff is very quick and helpful for extra bedding, towels, call a taxi, directions, make sure you have enough coffee, etc. It's the little things that count, and I was helped quickly and with great hospitality. This hotel is quite clean and in good repair, great rates for an economy traveler and I felt secure here. I would not hesitate to return."

"Really well kept building and rooms. But one thing it lacked was having a cupboard? Having a few hangers is difficult when you’re sharing with your friend and have lots of outfits and stuff for the trip. It was also pretty dark even with full lights on. Staff were really kind and appreciated the proximity to stores and places to explore!"

"The hotel itself was excellent. Sadly, the staff weren’t always so helpful - but always friendly. Some inconsistencies with room service during my stay: coffee arriving cold, wrong order, no condiments - that sort of thing. I had a massage at the spa and my masseuse was truly a magician (thanks again)! One thing that I did struggle with is the caged birds in reception. Granted they were there all day, but still, they did bounce around their cages which was sad to see."

"Excellent Hotel with friendly and warm staff. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Highend finishes throughout, nothing was an effort for staff. Pool area was relaxing and lovely. Whenever we stop in Singapore we will definitely be staying at The Dusit Thani Laguna again."

"We stayed from 13th to 20th August. I just want to say it was an absolute pleasure. When checking in the service at reception was exceptional. I had originally booked a double room and then was offered a room with 2 beds as I was travelling with my child. So much appreciated to have separate beds. The room was fantastic and really modern. We used the pool everyday and also cannot fault breakfast. Fantastic choice to start the day. We were out exploring everyday around 8am and the location is perfect as we used the buses from outside and the MRT. The hotel I found to be exceptional standard from service to cleanliness. As we were with you for a week your team knew us personally and always were happy for a chat. On our check out we left our bags at reception for several hours before leaving for the airport. Just as we were leaving a lady in reception gave us a gift of 2 key rings. I was absolutely overwhelmed and felt a little emotional leaving. I cannot thank you and your team enough for a wonderful stay. I will definitely be returning to your hotel. Once again thank you for everything and making us feel special."
