This place located well off the beaten path in the foothills of southwest Oregon. The road in and out was gravel and fairly steep and very narrow. Would require 4 wheel drive in rainy or snowy weather.
This place was a nightmare for me because it had no accommodation for someone with mobility handicaps. This was not disclosed when we reserved it. The entrance from the parking area to the front door is a narrow, gravelly, steep( I estimate above 50 degrees), about 70 feet long to 3 narrow steps with a metal pipe hand rail that was so hot in the afternoon you couldn’t hold onto it. From the top of the steps to the door was about 15 feet of level wooden deck which was easily traversed.
The toilet was another challenge. I have not sat on one so low to the floor in years and there was no hand rail to aid in getting up.
There is no ice available without imposing on the caretaker. The television has very limited internet channels and no instructions as to how to make it work for someone not familiar with the technology of an Apple remote. A recliner chair would have been nice to sit in.
The place was clean and the plate of cheese and crackers was appreciated.
We enjoy visiting this area and hoped to find a location we could come back to when we return. Unfortunately this is not that place.
