He responded to our messages within a minute through WhatsApp. Even though we arrived late at night on one occasion, he made the entry process easy by responding immediately upon our arrival. Good breakfast served in the lovely courtyard by Matteo who was very kind and attentive - fresh croissant, fruit, muesli, yogurt, toast and great coffee! In a great location just 10 min walk to Via Etnea and the centre. As a solo traveller I felt very safe walking around and loved my brief stay in Catania. 「The hairdryer caught on fire. The bed was like sleeping in a hammock. People tried coming in our room in the middle of the night because the rooms weren’t clearly marked. There were no extra pillows. The only thing I appreciated from this place was the location.」

「We performed a self check in after hours, and Christian gave us thorough instructions on how to access the room. We arrived around 1 am, and I do not recommend walking in the neighborhood at that time. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, and we were able to use the kitchen table along with other guests. We were easily able to walk into town and to the bus terminal for Taormina. The room was clean and spacious. The water was a little chilly. 」

「Great location. Room and bathroom were large and clean. Bring your own toiletries - toothpaste, etc. This is more of a bed and breakfast. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. Andrea was helpful with our luggage when we arrived, but he was not there when we departed so we had to take luggage down ourselves.
