The room itself was clean, however, the floors had several issues, the plumbing is incredibly loud for anything. A minute after running the any water, sink, toilet, etc. the loud plumbing sounds. My door was a sliding door, and I was unaware that there was cleaning everyday starting at 10am. Not normally a problem but on my first morning I was tired and sleeping in. There is no "do not disturb" sign, so the lady opened my door and startled me awake. The WiFi was out for one of the evenings, and the mattress is only 6-8 inches of memory foam, you could sometimes feel the frame of the bed. Definitely needs some maintenance, and I would rethink the black paint as it's incredibly dim instead. I had to do any make up on the bed with my small mirror since the black paint made it very cave like and impossible to see anything. Location, wifi, and air conditioning were good. The free water was nice. I wouldn't stay here again, mainly due to loud plumbing, bad finishes, and black cave like room.

It needs to be more advertised that you must contact them 72 hours before to receive check in info as they will not contact you. I contacted them over 24 hours before but no one replied and when I got to the hotel no one was there or was answering the phone, a couple of hours later I managed to get the check in details. The room is fine, bed not to my taste as it was too soft and as many reviews state the plumbing is noisy. I was a solo female traveller and didn’t love the thin sliding front door of the room, it didn’t feel very safe. Good TV and aircon. Breakfast was an apple and a packaged muffin, orange juice and there was a coffee machine.

A great central location, very reasonably priced, to explore Catania from. The room is very clean and well presented although a number of things were broken (the shower leaked which meant the toilet macerator went off every 30 minutes through the night, the shower head itself was also broken, and the aircon remote didn't really work) but for the price it's a good deal and otherwise comfortable.

Good budget choice

Clean, easy check-in, great for 1 or 2 nights on a budget. can get a bit loud as it's full of young people. Especially the rooms facing the narrow courtyard where the sound carries from other rooms.
