「Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. 「We stayed at Opus One Hotel for three nights. The location is excellent—close to the train station and an easy walk to the city center. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean, with a large balcony perfect for relaxing. The host was friendly and very helpful—he provided us with a power adapter we forgot to bring and gave useful tips about local restaurants and shops. 「The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast. 」

「Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Bed is great. Bathroom spacious and clean. Only issue was the functioning of the controls in sink and shower. It is not intuitive. Took me forever to figure out the shower. Also we learned that Portugal hotels require your passport info. Faro also wanted 2€ each person in cash for City Tax. Expedia should add this to the room cost. 」
