We had a really lovely and relaxing stay here. The hotel is very well managed and felt calm and civilised with a nice mix of nationalities. The size, proportions, facilities and food were all generous and the staff so sweet. We had never done a resort holiday as a family before, but felt we lucked out in discovering this hotel. The hotel is exceptional. Highly maintained, food lovely, staff amazing. A nice walk into the village to the restaurants too. My only very minor complaint is the large pool is a little cold, but you do acclimatise pretty quickly.

Amazing resort, location was incredible and the pool and lounge area were great. Highly recommend getting the half board at the Buffet dinner was super yummy with a lot of choice. The aircon and fan in the room were much needed and we had great night sleeps.

Hotel opened July 2025 so all fresh and clean, partial sea view room really nice, clean, good balcony to sit out on. Pools excellent, plenty of sun beds too. Food great, plenty of choice at breakfast. A few exercises classes every day for those that want to be active ( aqua aerobics and pilates) but also a reasonable one site gym. Good location over looking Felecia beach, sunbeds with shade 10 euros each for the day. 20 mins / 9 euro Uber to Albuferia and Villamorey with plenty of restaurants. 5/5 overall.

The property is beautiful. The room was clean and the staff amazing. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. The complimentary breakfast buffet was great and if you choose the dinner buffet well stocked and reasonably priced. There is nightly entertainment should you choose to stay on the resort. Albufeira is a close Uber ride so close for excursions and dinner in the old town. We will definitely return. Great experience.

Was an excellent stay. Both my pregnant wife and I felt very welcome. I had a treat for my birthday and a treat for my baby, the room was always spotless and breakfast, although busy and with some of the staff showing a bit of inexperience, was always great and the buffet was fresh and replenished constantly. Parking was the only thing i can really complain about as there wasn’t always parking nearby (with a pregnant wife i wish this wasn’t the case). Wish i booked a few extra days as 7 days felt short. Thank you for making our baby moon so enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. There was an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options every morning, so there was something for everyone. Dinner was a bit more difficult. While the hotel itself offers several dining options, we were hoping to find more authentic Portuguese restaurants nearby. The area is very tourist-oriented, so finding traditional local food wasn't as easy as we expected, and there wasn't a huge selection. One thing to keep in mind is the beach access. To reach the stairs leading down to the beach, you first have to walk through the neighboring hotel, which was a little confusing at first as it wasn't clearly indicated. Also, there are a lot of stairs. The views are absolutely stunning, but the beach is not easily accessible for people with limited mobility. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel that I would happily recommend. The location, facilities, and overall experience made for a great holiday.

I really like this hotel that’s why I came back for the second time this year. Area is absolutely beautiful, good breakfast, nice pool and spa. The only thing I would improve is staff attitude. I do understand not everyone comes from hospitality background but it’s management responsibility to train staff better. When I had to change rooms halfway through my stay informing staff in advance I faced a lot of strange made up issues and excuses saying I have to check out, wait two hours then check in again. It’s not how you handle in-house guests, you treat room changes as a priority not as a new booking. It’s strange that such a nice property won’t have better policies.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Really quiet and peaceful. We did go outside of school holidays so it could be busier during that time. Lovely breakfast loads of choice. Room was immaculate and very quiet. The access to the beach could have been better signposted. The way down to one of the beaches is not easily accessible, don't attempt it if you have any mobility problems or aren't very fit. Very steep steps. The other beach can be walked to easily. The hotel is quite set back in a cul de sac. It looks like its easy to walk to or there should be a cutting to get to it but there isn't and it is quite a steep hill to walk up. The area the hotel is in is quiet, if you are after a central base in Albufeira this isn't the place for you. But there is a bus stop close by and the buses are regular so if you don't mind that it's good

Amazing property! We recently stayed at PortoBay Blue Ocean and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spacious, and offers everything needed for a relaxing and memorable holiday. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, efficient, and completely hassle-free. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to guests' needs, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available every morning. There was something for everyone, and the cakes and pastries were especially outstanding. The facilities are exceptional and very well maintained. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, along with a relaxing jacuzzi area. The spa offers a great selection of massages and treatments, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge. One of the highlights of our stay was the evening entertainment. The live singing performances created a wonderful atmosphere and added a special touch to our evenings. Another unique feature is that PortoBay Falésia is connected to PortoBay Blue Ocean by a beautiful wooden walkway. The breath-taking ocean views along the path make every stroll a memorable experience and add to the charm of the property. The location is fantastic, with stunning coastal scenery and direct access to some of the most beautiful views in the Algarve.

The staff were very helpful, although on our arrival (approximately 1230am) there wasn’t a porter to assist us with our luggage to the 3rd floor with 2 long hallways. We had asked for a quiet room, but didn’t expect a room facing rooftops & street lighting for several miles, and a view of the main road into the town, and a generator that cut in/out every 3 minutes from breakfast to dinner each day. Breakfast was very comprehensive, although the evening meal for €110 with wine was average at best, so we continued to you use the À la carte restaurant, that although slightly more expensive, was excellent! Towels on beds was an irritating practice, and remained unchecked. All in all the beach views were spectacular, although I wouldn’t recommend for those unprepared to walk a mile or so down approximately 150-200 timber steps (my wife and I are in our late 70s but are not adverse to exercise) all in all a good holiday, but not a resort I would rush back too! I would be happy to provide a comprehensive ( in my opinion inexpensive) improvement plan, 10 out of 10 for staff attitudes 👍

The hotel has great pools and a wonderful hydro pool which is like a jacuzzi but not as hot. It has individual sections you can lay on and turn on personal bubbles. Loved that! It has two beaches you can walk to down a lot of steps. The closer one is a small beautiful secluded beach and the further away one is a large tourist one with a restaurant. I loved the breakfast which included champagne! The room was lovely. I highly recommend.
