「We had a fabulous weekend break at the Great Western Hotel. The room looks to have been newly refurbished and was nicely decorated. Tea coffee in the room and complementary toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. The bed was really comfy and the room was cleaned each day. Breakfast choice in the morning was excellent and well cooked. Hot food made to order or continental if you prefer. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We flew from Manchester, a 50 minute flight, caught the bus...

「As a first time ,solo traveller, I couldn't praise the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel enough. They were all so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble , particularly in the restaurant and bar. The hotel has only been open a few weeks and there are still a few facilities not open but I will certainly return next year when the pool area etc should be complet. Thank you for a lovely stay」

「The staff were very helpful and let me store my pole vault pole, which is over 4m long, in the basement free of charge for the duration of my stay, which was very helpful. The hotel is only a short walk from Fistral Beach and convenient for the town centre. My single room was a good size with large window overlooking the sea.」
