「The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

「Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses. But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time.」

「Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen. The bed and the sofa were...

「Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We felt really welcome. Lovely dinner at “the Ship Inn”. We really E njoyed the “Lost Gardens of Heligan” and Charlestown which are conveniently located near the cottage, and the coastal walks with spectacular views at Kynance Cove. Great thanks to our host Jo. We would love to come back.」

「My wife and I had a lovely stay in Charlestown at Honeysuckle Cottage for 5 nights. The house is well equipped and 10 minutes walk from the famous historic harbour which we were visiting for the first time. The nearest pub is even closer. There is limited parking outside the cottage but plenty of free street parking nearby. As it was, we were lucky and only once could not park near the cottage. There is a dehumidifier in the kitchen. It should be pointed out that this needs emptying of water...

「A beautiful little hideaway central to anywhere you want to go in Cornwall. Lovely peaceful little site. Tina is a beautiful soul who is so helpful. We will be returning and fully recommend to anyone who loves the simplicity of peace and tranquility. The pods are small cosy and homely. The dogs and horses are a joy to watch and be around. Our furbaby also had a very relaxing short stay with the freedom of the outside area. Perfect. Thank you from us both. Lisa and Mark Burge. 」

「Great place to stay, a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. A really quiet place to chill out. The hot tub smelt a little funky, like someone had let their dog in it (ugh) but with a quick wipe out it was ok.」

「This accomodation is amazing, however if you are taking a pet dog you need to know that the beach/local paths do not allow dogs between end of March to October. Not clear in hotels.com info. We walked from the local path down towards the beach saw the sign saying no dogs on the beach so walked by the quay side- unbeknown to us due to poor signage was also no dogs, only to be aggressive confronted by a nasty local man. Put a bit of a downer on being in such a nice property so close to beach.」
