「It was a novel experience to stay in a converted jail. The breakfast was great and the service was overall very good. As a practical stay with two young kids I found the rooms to be on the small side (perhaps expected for a converted jail) and not so comfortable as a place to just unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would perhaps recommend it for a one night stay, just to try it out, but not for longer.」

「We took a family room. The size of the room was adequate. Room was clean. A fridge , fan , iron was also available. Plenty of parking space. Lot of restaurants in easy walking distance. A nice quiet town center with a river flowing by. The location is also a very good base for Cornwall. Everything within an hour or so.」

「The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. 「The property was excellent and from the time we arrived everything was clear on how to enter. There was everything we needed including cleaning products and the kitchen was well stocked with what anyone would need. The bungalow was spacious and the area was quiet and clean well kept. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the site for families, couples or single travellers. A great location with a short drive to nearby villages etc」

「Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop.
