Your not going to get wide open panoramics but still stunning, especially late May when the formal gardens are in full bloom. Food in cafe is superb, especially Sunday lunch (be early though)! I love going for breakfast at 0930, spend the morning shooting images, lunch at 1300’ish and then down to Chapel Porth afterwards ...

Excellent b and b

Brilliant b and b. We would happily stay here again. Bedroom was large and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for shower. Whole building was spotless. Hosts delightful. Breakfast delicious

The accommodations were just what we needed. They were comfortable, safe, quiet, and had some of the most beautiful views of Cornwall. The family is kind, accomodating, and friendly.
Breakfast was always fresh and delicious!
Views from the bedroom were exceptional. Ask for the St.Ives room 😉

Adelaide & her family are friendly, welcoming hosts. They were able to provide helpful information e.g. best places to park on our days out, and kindly accommodated all our little requests. Spacious bathroom with a good shower, tea/coffee replenished daily, great breakfasts... overall good value for money and a handy location for exploring other parts of Cornwall.

Great stay in St Austel

Great spot for us and we explored Cornwall from there for the week. Also good local knowledge of places to swim, eateries etc which was valued.

Excellent location for exploring

We found Gwyndra House to be very comfortable, clean and ideally located close to the train and bus station to explore this region of Cornwall. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and made us feel very welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend Gwyndra House as an excellent place to stay.

This is a lovely guest house. It is clean, spacious and the breakfast is great. The owners are extremely attentive and made our stay comfortable. They went to extra lengths to acknowledge our celebrations, which was above our expectations and made our stay even better. I would highly recommend.

We had a great reception at Gwyndra by the friendly couple. The facility was super clean, well appointed with plentry of room for our cases and bags. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and bright. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size too with an amazing shower. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of options. Loved that I could choose what to have. It is very conveniently located and within easy walking distance of the train station. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a weekend, while attending the Eden Sessions. The location is very convenient, since I don't drive and commuted by public transport. The staff were very accommodating with accepting my late check-in, serving hot breakfast immediately, including offerred further assistance if needed.

Lovely little B&B, staff very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast. Bed was too soft for my liking but was very clean . Bit noisey in front room due to being on a main road too.
