「Despite the appreciated upgrade, the general well-meaning support of the staff and a good breakfast I would sadly make three negative comments: 1/ Room 105 was very dusty in deed and so in fact dirty in places with inside of windows, the wardrobe, bathroom, pictures on the wall and under the bed of real concern. Even finding a used tissue from a previous stay on the floor. 2/ The door latch on room 105 is not aligned so does not close and so lock correctly. This is clearly a security concern...

「We have stayed here many times over the past ten years. There has been quite a gap between our last stay and this. It is a very relaxing place to stay . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good , and the bed very comfortable.」

「The hotel was good but the room we has was 2 flights up with 2 very heavy fire doors. It was very hot with only a small window to a flat roof that didn't open more than 3 inches. No phone in room to communicate with reception. Nothing in the immediate area outside the hotel other than a 10 minute? very steep hill to port isaac. There was nowhere to sit and relax out of the heat other than the bar.」

A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. 」
