Where to stay in Cannes

Le Suquet
Le Suquet, the oldest quarter of Cannes, invites you to wander its narrow medieval streets that wind past an 11th-century watchtower. Stone archways frame breathtaking Mediterranean views as you explore this former fishing village. The hilltop Musée de la Castre housed in a medieval castle showcases diverse art collections. Traditional Provençal restaurants serve bouillabaisse and local rosé wine on terraces overlooking the Old Port. Artisan boutiques offer ceramics and lavender products between historic ochre buildings with flower-filled balconies. From this charming cultural enclave, the beaches and buzz of Cannes remain just a short walk away.

Palais des Festivals - Old Port
The glamorous heart of Cannes unfolds along the Palais des Festivals - Old Port area. This upscale neighborhood hosts the world-famous film festival, where red carpets welcome celebrities each year. The scenic Old Port dazzles with luxury yachts while the palm-lined Croisette promenade hugs golden beaches. History meets modern luxury at every corner of this waterfront gem. Visitors can explore Cannes Harbour, relax on Mace Beach, or try their luck at Le Croisette Casino. The neighborhood balances cultural landmarks like the Museum of the Sea with high-end boutiques and Mediterranean dining options.

Pointe Croisette
Pointe Croisette extends into the Mediterranean Sea, offering a luxurious playground for the affluent in Cannes. Palm Beach Casino anchors this upscale peninsula, surrounded by high-end hotels and pristine beaches with iconic blue-and-white striped cabanas. Stunning coastal paths provide perfect sunset views of the Lérins Islands. The neighborhood balances Belle Époque grandeur with Mediterranean charm along its scenic waterfront promenade. Visitors can enjoy exclusive beach clubs, Michelin-starred dining, and sophisticated evening entertainment. Despite its luxury status, the area maintains a peaceful atmosphere with gentle waves and rustling palm fronds.

La Bocca
La Bocca gives budget-conscious travelers an authentic slice of French coastal life. This welcoming neighborhood offers uncrowded public beaches with stunning Bay of Cannes views. Three convenient train stations connect you to central Cannes and beyond. Locals outnumber tourists in this residential haven. Spend sunny days at Bocca, Midi, or Dauphins Beach without the downtown crowds. Explore the weekly markets for Provençal products at prices lower than central Cannes. Hiking trails through Mediterranean scrubland reward you with panoramic coastal views. The seafront promenade invites evening strolls past palm trees and local cafés.

"The location of the hotel is brilliant. We arrived at lunchtime, but one of our rooms was ready which was brilliant. I had an economy room which was small but absolutely fine for me. Very clean. Breakfast is continental buffet and was lovely with brilliant views from the terrace. All staff we met were friendly and helpful."

"Personnel fort agréable, j'avais oublié mon chargeur de téléphone. Le responsable de l'hôtel m'a directement prêté le sien pour la nuit. Chambre pratique simple, moderne comme la SDB. Si, je dois m'arrêter encore à Cannes. Je retournerai à cet hôtel les yeux fermés."

"Staff were amazing"
