"Great location and cleanliness of the hotel. Walking to train station and all attractions. The only 4 star I gave is for age of the building and rooms. Looks very old but in perfect condition. I didn’t stay in other hotels in Venice but I assume all are old as well as the city is old and they can’t demolish buildings. Anyway, great hotel, staff and price and I recommend it."

The website says that they have shuttle to the airport for a surcharge, from previous reviews it looked like it was around 25$ - I was charged 61 euros as they told me it was 50 euros for shuttle(taxi) and extra 11 euros for tax as I was paying by credit card. "The hotel we were supposed to stay in was full so I had to find another hotel nearby. I chose this guest house due to the favorable ratings. I was very pleased with the location and the attention from the hotel when I had questions. Everything is done via email and they get back daily. The check-in process was exactly as they said and we got into our room early. They give you a code so guests can enter on their own at anytime. "My family loved our stay here. It was quiet and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had 2 bathrooms and 2 nicely decorated bedrooms. Also provided was a bottle of still water and a bottle of carbonated water. The ceilings are a bit low so might be a problem if you are tall. There is also a small washing machine in the apartment with a drying rack which was very helpful. "Foresteria Levi was exactly what we needed. Centrally located close to the Accademia bridge it allowed us to visit all the sites in Venice in the short time we had. Our room was clean and spacious and accommodated our family of four. It provided a breakfast at a reasonable cost. Staff was very nice and helpful. At the end of our stay we had a water taxi come directly to the location’s own dock on the central canal to take us to the train station."
