We loved our stay at San Marco Palace. Just know that the reception desk for check in is at Hotel San Marco around the corner. It wasn’t a big deal but was a little frustrating after we’d already gotten lost because GPS directions weren’t clear. It all worked out fine and we had a wonderful time. The hotel also has great perks. Ask about trips to Murano booked by the hotel before you book your own through a different company.

Avoid this unless there is absolutely no other good option available. There was no iron, bedsheets sofa was really bad and I was worried if there are bed bugs or hygienic. Hotel staff are rude. Hair dryer is a joke! Location only is perfect ! That’s the only good thing about this hotel.

Great location very close to San Marco square and several restaurants and shopping nearby. Very accommodating and they even set us up with a water taxi to the airport. Overall a very enjoyable stay that allowed us to get a good taste of Venice and it’s culture.
