「Staff was very helpful and courteous 」

「We stayed at The Juliet 2 years ago. Our sense was that at this time, things looked freshly painted. It is quiet and convenient with easy access to local restaurants and shops. The adjacent restaurant/social club has opened.」

「Doubletree has been my go to hotel for my Lafayette stays this year; however, on our last stay our room was left with hair in sink, tub and towels on arrival. I let the from desk know when I retrieved new towels and the rep gave us a free breakfast to rectify the issue. The location is perfect for me as well being close to shops, food and family. 」

「A van blocked the front entrance when I arrived. I mentioned it to the front desk person who responded, "I. know." That was exemplary of every interaction I had with her. There was an employee smoking at the entrance every time I went in and out. Nice cloud to walk through and the van was there when I left to have dinner much later. Breakfast was sparse. 「The character of the property was excellent although you park at the rear and enter from the rear so you don’t see the full glory of the plantation house. Lovely courtyard area. A traditionalBreakfast of fresh fruit eggs, biscuit and meat gravy. Vegetarian option just one biscuit one egg. Good quality hairdryer and iron there is also a fridge and microwave. 」

Especially house keeping and the kitchen staff. The night front desk staff was nice but lacked some professionalism. He seemed bothered by me wanting to switch rooms to be close to my family. Then he could only get 1 key made for the new room and he seemed very frustrated.」

「There where construction workers there taking there used water bottles and holding them up to the nozzles of the juices and filling them up . Very unsanitary and nasty. I did not eat anything from the breakfast after seeing that occur.」
