「Had a great couple of days at this hotel. Staff friendly hotel, lovely with great rooms super doggy, friendly and great food. Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Other than that fantastic couple of days They also run a fshuttle to the Hut restaurant, which is well worth a visit. 」

「Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!」

「it is a very old hotel with old facility at the price, small room - can't even open my suitcase on the floor, very old facility in the hotel and in the room, old wood window that has a big gap that is very noisy when hit by the wind (I had to put a towel in the middle of the night between the gap to stop the noise) bathroom very old, faucet very difficult to use, Parking very expensive 」

「Fantastic hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. All the communal areas (bar/restaurant/reception/gardens) were very high standard. Rooms (we had small double) were exactly that, well appointed and small. The goose down pillows were extremely comfortable as was the bed. 4 x 22kwh electric chargers in the car park at a reasonable 59p/Kw Short walk to the town centre and the beach.」
