Although this resort is very remote, and not finished. Every detail was amazing! Very clean room, wonderful bathroom, comfortable bed and wonderful towels. When this resort is finished it will be amazing!

They marketed having a private beach but You are not allowed access to it, we had to drive into town to go to the beach. The lagoon pool was nice but covered in algae. The facility is under construction so we were awoken at 7am every morning to the sounds of hammering and sawing. The restaurant is ok but entrees are around $50/each, the market and deli are extremely expensive as well. It’s one of those time share deals where they try to get you to go to a 5+ hour presentation to buy a time share in exchange for what we understood to be a $200 all inclusive certificate. We realized the girl in the front did not speak good English & this was not the case. The sales manager was unapologetic and said she would do nothing to make this right, she was the rudest person at the resort. The bellmen, waiters and housekeeping we all extremely nice and personable. All things considered we would not stay there again.

El hotel es tranquilo y divertido, me gustaron mucho las albercas y la laguna, hice algunas actividades que no había hecho nunca en la vida como el kayak y tirarme de la cuerda al lago. La comida es muy rica y siempre me atendieron bien. Regresaré!

I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Solmar The Residences. The suites are very comfortable and spacious. The staff is very warm and inviting. I have been in many hotels in the world and the staff service in this resort exceeded all my expectations. The food is excelent as well. I am positive I will stay in this phenomenal resort again. Highly recommended. Contratulations to all your staff.

Amazing views of the Pacific. The staff is extremely helpful. Anica restaurant has excellent food and wait staff. Large parts of the property are still under construction and that takes a little bit away from the beauty of the property. The hourly shuttle to the city was a great help.

Booked the wrong solmar hotel. I wanted the one closer to town, next to the old solmar. This hotel is not even 1/2 finished. But charging full price. Might be a nice spot 10 years down the line. Looks like it will be its own city one day.
