「This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. 」

「Lodge Room quiet and sheets were clean but room worn with water stain in lamp shade. Elevator brass and woodwork needed polishing and dusting. Carpet dirty and worn. 「Our stay was comfortable with the hotel being very clean and bright. The breakfast offered plenty of options and the food was hot. I do wish that the coffee was inside the breakfast area instead of having to walk to the lobby each time for refills. Unfortunately the outside dining was a small area facing the parking lot- so not enticing to eat outside.
