We even commented as we stepped into the room that it was the first room rental on our whole trip that smelled great and had pleasant lighting 😂. We would stay here every road trip through California if we could. We had dinner at the Sage Restaurant down the road and that was so delicious and full of history and charm as well. "

"It was a nice comfortable place to stay prior to going to Lassen Volcanic National Park. While not any eating amenities to speak of nearby, there is a store where you can purchase items to heat in the microwave. Staff lady was friendly."
