"The hotel has done a lot of renovations since I last stayed there las year. Room was cleaner furniture had been updated, and lamps had been updated. The clerk was the same man that was there last time I was there and just as friendly and accommodating as he was last trip. Had fresh fruit, oatmeal, and waffles for breakfast. When I got to the breakfast bar they were beginning to tear it down though. If you are needing a place to stay that is near UTMC That is easy go back and forth I highly recommend."

"I ran out of toiletries and front office clerk whom was not allowed by motel owner to leave the office by night brought me the necessary product. I’d like to commend this young man for going out of his way. Thank you sir. "

"My wife and I took an overnight trip to Tyler and chose this hotel for its convenient location and solid reputation. The front desk staff was very friendly, and check-in was quick and effortless. The hotel offered good amenities and was clean and secure overall.However, when we arrived at our room, we found the door slightly ajar, which immediately made me uneasy—I wasn’t sure if someone was still inside or if the room had been broken into. The door frame also had noticeable pry marks on it. Thankfully, the room was empty, and the door still closed and locked properly, so I decided not to report it.The only real downside was that our room was right next to the elevator. The loud dinging sound went off constantly throughout the night—at least a hundred times. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel, but I’d strongly suggest requesting a room far away from the elevator. "

"The pool was not open it had sludge knee deep in the deep end, all of the ice machines and the vending machines were all boarded up the main office was full of trash and hotter than hayties"

"I travel one week every 2 months and Always stay at a LaQuinta, I was surprised LaQuinta has their name tied to this property. Wasn't horrible but wasn't your typical LaQuinta standards. Place needs a serious Facelift. "
