「This place is charming and nestled in the woods of east Texas, it’s great for unwinding and getting away from the city for a few days, beautiful outdoor deck for birdwatching or just relaxing, Room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast that we ate was outstanding, the owners were very hospitable and we will be going back. 」

「The breakfast menu was not great. No eggs, mostly carbs, and no fresh fruit. The power went out in the bathroom as we were getting ready the next morning. No one was at the front desk as we left, so there was no one to share this info with.」

「The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was safe although near a busy intersection so rather noisy. The staff were sweet, courteous and genuine. I recommend the hotel heartily though it is not a luxurious or expensive sort of hotel. It’s SAFE for a solo traveler. 」

「Stay was great, and the location has lots of restaurants nearby. The only thing is that the beds are on top of what looks and sounds like filing cabinets. Very odd base on a bed and makes a metallic noise anytime you move.」

「The positive. Breakfast was really good. The front desk was polite. The entry was nice. Now for the bad. The room was not good at all. The floor looked like it has a major leak it was hummped up all over bathroom with mold showing underneath. Hole in bathroom door. Toilet wouldnt shut off unless wiggle the handle. Wall damage in bathroom. Beds were hard. Pillows were so soft almost nonexistent when laying on them almost like not enough stuffing in them. Its too bad. If theybwould have updated...
