Cons : Deadbolt lock on door didn’t work, bathtub drain stopper didn’t work (had to shove a rag into drain to take a bath) Pros : Clean room, comfy bed, breakfast was okay Neutral : Nice that they had a pool (smelled pretty strongly of chlorine) Overall, compared to the other hotels in this specific area i would stay again but if I would choose to drive a little further for better hotel options if I redid my trip.

staff was fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful. breakfast was great lots of options and had a nice seating area but wrapped up at 9am and who wants to get up early on vacation. I got loaded last night and need to sleep it off. washer/dryer on the second floor was some of the best hotel ones we've ever used. the pool and hot tub are welcomed but the hot tub jets did work but it was still great to get a nice soak while the kiddo swam and splashed around. really makes him sleep like a grizzly bear. only gripe beside this hot jets was the wifi SUCKS. I wish we had brought our mobile hot spot. it was extremely slow and would disconnect every 10-30 minutes which causes you to have to re-sign into everything and makes working or watching any streaming service a burden.

We stay here all the time when visiting my daughter in college…the toilet seat was broken and I told the front desk and she put in a service order right then and there…the staff is always professional and nice

Bedroom was clean. We stayed here to see foliage at Tyler State Park but two weeks early - tree leaves still green. park was great though. Breakfast had egg, sausage, biscuit and gravy - loved it. Pool hot tub was broken - major disappointment since planned that as part of coming to the hotel in the first place.

Excellent! The staff is friendly, and the room I got was clean. Quiet hotel. Great place to sit and write my books! The breakfasts have a good variety of hot and cold food. I slept well on a comfy bed.

Comfortable room

Nice hotel room. Conveniently located right off of interstate 20. Check in was good, Joe at the front desk was very pleasant. Our room was nice with soft comfortable sheets and bedding. Towels were thick and fluffy and there were plenty of them. Five pillows on the bed made it comfortable. Bathtub could use some reglazing but otherwise the condition of the hotel was nice.
