「The wife and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short break in the New Forest. The hotel was great, our room was light and airy. Although a little warm because of the heat wave we were able to open windows on both sides that brought in a draft in the evening which quickly cooled the room down, that and use of the excellent shower meant that we coped easily. Each room also has a small allocated outdoor space which was particularly welcome during the hot weather and we enjoyed some fish and chips on...

「The bunk bed room was perfect for our two younger kids. However, the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep during our stay due to the heat. Once the weather cooled down at night, the large fan helped a lot. Parking was tight, and there are four EV chargers outside, although they are quite expensive at £0.98 per kWh. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.」

「Great staff, unique location , excellent food , couple of small issues with the bathroom, quite a lot of limescale on the shower controls & adjacent tiles. Hot water in the basin took forever to even be lukewarm. Everything else up to scratch & would stay again .」
