Apartment was very clean however there was a certain smell in the apartment that wouldn’t go away.. Aircon did not work at all which is a let down seeing as it’s very hot in Brisbane. But the experience, views and amenities are good.

Unsatisafactory stay. I was disappointed that FV had removed car parking for guests, however, the car park entry was always crowded and problematic. Was a quick 2-3 min walk to offset parking in Agnes St (though metered parking). Check in was via the convenience shop across the road - strange, but easy. Apartment was good in size - kitchen had very limited tablewear and crockery. Only provided with x 3 very flat pillows (requested additional though not provided). There was no seating or table available on the winter balcony which was disappointing. Bedroom had no bed side lamps and TV located in loungeroom only. The underside and rim of the coffee table had not been cleaned in a long time - there was a lot of mould evident. The bathroom and laundy were dusty and attention to detail needed on the shower recess and edges - filthy. No information was provided re amentities (had to look up) and WIFI complex and poor.

Apartment was filthy - dirty walks, carpet, broken fixtures. Stale smell. After complaining on the day 1 it was only late on day 2 that the call centre/ reception had the manager with authority offer to clean the apartment or provide a minor 10% discount. As we were leaving early the next day we accepted the discount via Expedia, although they were not able to achieve the full discount despite seeing the manager’s offer in writing.

Unfortunately to check into this property was difficult. Very poor communication from the property to receive check in details. The apartment did not feel clean, especially the lounge. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. Would not recommend this property.

Complete lack of communication. Didn't respond to my emails or messages. Wotif website wouldn't provide their phone number for me to call the property. Didn't send through check in details. Misleading property name... ghosting as FV Peppers. After 1 hour of trying to check in, making several phone calls, asking for assistance at FV Peppers, I finally made contact with the manager via phone. In order to check in, I had to go to the nearby convenience store to pick up the key from a lock box. The whole experience was dodgy and I highly recommend Wotif discontinue hosting this property on their website.

The apartment was as expected from the photos. The ensuite shower was missing a door which we were unaware of prior to our stay. During the second day, we received a phone call while we were out telling us that maintenance was there to install the shower door. So we had to return to the property. Fortunately we were at a nearby supermarket. The pool was nice, heated too.

I would not recommend this appartment to anyone. We conplained about our bed doona being stained and got no reply. There was no doona cover, just a sheet. Same for the matress, no cover just a sheet. Only 2 pillows, no spare pillows or blankets provided. Dirty cushions (stained and with other peoples hair) placed on the clean pillows on the bed. Tiny TV that was in "shop mode" that couldnt be turned off while we tried to watch the Anzac day services. The shower didnt seal and leaked all over the floor. We only got 2 towels to use, for 3 days stay and they were small. No towels provided to use the pool or gym. No thought has gone into this, and complaints fall on deaf ears. Not worth even half of the money spent.

PRO'S: View was amazing, location is great. CON'S: Beds were hard, shower pressure was not great... One bathroom had a toilet roll holder missing / was broken (in the cupboard under the sink). Besides that - awesome location, close to Fortitude Valley and RNA Showgrounds (walking distance). Carpark is very tight.

Adequate for price.

Comfortable accommodation for the price - convenient location and wifi. The pool is much smaller than pictured and a bit more maintenance would be good (we needed to replace TV remote battery ourselves; smoke alarm continually beeped - presumably requiring a new battery). Key picked up from local convenience store; no concierge or luggage storage and communication re TV not working could have been much better from the owner / operator.
