"Pilgram Sands in a basic no frills hotel on Plymouth Bay. It is clean and well-kept for the most part (some of the outside windows need cleaning). Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great (recently renovated with a really nice shower, heated no-fog mirror and nice vanity). We enjoyed the view from our balcony immensely although the balcony itself needed painting and the chairs had some bird poop on them when we arrived. I would recommend this hotel as a nice but not fancy place to stay near Plymouth."

"We had a comfortable room with 2 beds on the ground floor - very clean inside but the patio area hadn’t been swept There was an indirect pool but room keys/fobs didn’t open it and we needed to get a staff member to let us in They did say it was a fault which they were trying to sort out but we weren’t told in advance when checking in and there were no towels at the pool (though we were subsequently told we could pick them up from reception) there was a decent bar area which looked quite north European, and a shop at reception to pick up essentials and treats at prices you’d expect from a hotel. A good woodland based hotel on the outskirts of Mansfield and a $25 cab ride to the Gillette. Extensive parking but a little harder to get to/.from by foot or public transport - about 25/30 mins walk from the nearest station. Overall not a bad option if you are seeing a game/.event at Foxboro stadium"
