「Schone, grote kamer. Fris en nieuw. Mooie badkamer. Eigen parkeerplek. Nadeel is dat we een kamer direct aan de drukke weg hadden (kamer 5). Hoewel er veel moeite is gedaan om het geluid te dempen, stoorde het langsrazende verkeer ons. De kamers aan de achterzijde hebben dit nadeel waarschijnlijk niet. Ontbijt had ook wat minpuntjes: lauwe koffie, geschifte yoghurtjes, zoutvaatjes verstopt. Waarschijnlijk waren de ontbijtzaken een momentopname maar toch goed om te laten weten.」

「Beautiful property very clean and well maintained. Pool and hot tub were always clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes cutlery and pans. Could have used a few essentials such as pepper and sugar. Would have loved some information on where to buy fresh bread and other core items.」

Preis für Übernachtung allerdings recht hoch für ein 4 Sterne Hotel ohne Frühstück oder sonstige Verpflegung. Der Whirlpool ist indoor in einem Nebenraum zur Rezeption. Wäre er draussen gewesen hätten wir ihn benutzt.」

「Paulo was an incredible host, suggesting ideas for activities, hikes and restaurants. The bed was confortable and the room had everything you need. If you want to go to bed early or stay in bed late, don’t forget to bring your earplugs if you are in the main building because you can hear people at breakfast. 「Nicole, Aidlia, Nathalia, Rodrigo, Miguel displayed passion i envied. There was nothing too much to ask. The same for the breakfast show kitchen Chef with the goatie beard navigating the demands for all sort of fancy egg diahes. I am particularly amazed by his attention to detail and multi tasking skills. Well trained i thought! That required focus, and a great amount of love for the job. The passion for their job was evident. For their island! We love that! The hotel is a beautiful wonder....

「Really enjoyed this hotel. My flight was canceled so I had to hurriedly find a hotel. Found this one and I felt so lucky! The location is wonderful, right in the old historic section around numerous restaurants and little shops. The breakfast was beyond exceptional. Room was clean and very quiet. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, so helpful! Beautiful hotel」

「Breakfast buffet is good! Parking is good! Only have 2 criticizing comments: 1. Breakfast is good but its the same everyday. And 2. The gym. Needs disinfectant wipes or spray for before and after equipment use. The amount of germs left on gym equipment is very high.」

「Maison Emeraude is tucked away behind dark stone walls. Inside is a lush, colourful oasis of lovely gardens and inviting pool. Our was very clean and quiet with a comfortable king sized bed. Franck and Miguel were great hosts and shared tips on where to go and what to do. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, fresh squeezed orange juice, breads, coffee, eggs and more! We really enjoyed our stay!」

「We liked the private hot tub, especially since the weather was too cold to swim. The room had a kitchenette, which we appreciated since there's no room service and it was 20 minute walk to town. A car is definitely needed for Sao Miguel. The room was cleaned very well, but people aren't very careful and we could see stains on the sofa even though the hotel is relatively new. There was a somewhat small smart TV in the room, but it worked well. Breakfast was basic but included with the reservation...

「Passal hostel was a great stay. A very close convent walk to the city center and a 15min walk to the mall. Most of all Paulo was amazing, upon my arrival he helped me with everything I needed, while also assisting other guest. If I could give Paulo himself five stars I would. I will be staying there again.」
