"Big shout out to the restaurant staff who were very flexible accommodating me after my flight was late meaning my prepaid bookings couldn’t be honoured. "
"Hotel was lovely very chilled vibes ,, no one was rushing you in and out of restaurant etc
Staff all seemed lovely and family room was very spacious. Definitely will visit again "
"Everything! The staff were beyond helpful, even taking our bags to our room when it was ready. Breakfast was fabulous and the swimming pool was great. Really good for a family get away. "
"The room was so clean and the staff were wonderful everywhere we went! From the reception to dinner and the lounge! Absolutely will come back and stay here when I visit Ireland again!"
"The parking was free and located right by the resort and spa areas. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, the pillows were rather hard, though. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, as American guests might desire. There was a hot water boiler, two cups and one spoon, 2 bottles of still water, tea bags and instant coffee singles, and milk singles (during our visit to the area we could not find any coffee creamer in liquid or powdered form anywhere).
The area around the resort was pretty, rural with green hills and trees. You could hear the highway noise from the parking lot of the hotel, though. Access to the resort grounds from the highway was fast and easy.
To eat at the restaurant you had to make reservations, so we did not go. We did not use the spa, although it was included with our stay. We ate at the bar a few times, sitting in the winter garden looking out, and the food there was delicious! We only had breakfast in the designated breakfast room once and thought it was expensive for what was offered. But the view from the window was lovely.
The hotel staff was very nice and friendly :)
In summary, I would recommend the resort and spa for it's friendly staff, nice scenery, clean and cozy rooms, convenient access, and proximity to other interesting places to visit.
