「Booked "dog-friendly room" (it's handy to have that description in the room information when booking as otherwise I'd ring the hotel before booking to check if dogs are ok in room we're booking, so thanks for that). Note that £30pn is charged on top of room rate for a dog. It was a premium room, so had a lounge area with tv (Disney etc) & separate bedroom area. All very clean and comfy. 「Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. The bedroom had a radio, which was also caked in dust. I have a severe allergy to dust, which immediately caused a...

「The restaurant was great. Was a good place to stay for a function. You pay for what you get. Was not expecting a lot for £65.00 pounds. Very old facility so also can not expect a lot. Unfortunately our TV did not work well as we tried to unwind for the day, and the toilet would not flush. I would still give it another go to stay.」
