"The historic buildings were modernized with respect for the charm of their history. The location was absolutely perfect. Easy to walk anywhere in the French Quarter. It was a great week for my wife and me as we celebrated our anniversary. The delightful Deidra at the desk was a joy with each departure and return. Deidra is an asset to the Valentino company and treasure to the guests. Parking in the Quarter is what it is. We parked in the lot across Decatur and it was convenient. Paying for the parking through the hotel provided a little break in price. "

"Everything was excellent..5 stars wasn't given overall became extended check out wasn't offered on my particular day of leave. Understandable because the hotel was fully booked for a wedding and conference."

"Valet was fast and easy. Great location. Also, I accidently left an item behind that I was worried I wouldn't get back. Housekeeping turned it in and they quickly shipped it back to me! Everyone there from management to front desk to valet to housekeeping were exceptional! I highly recommend this Marriott hotel if you are in the New Orleans area!! "

"The room was cleaned only once in our 4 days stay. Garbage was not taken out. Our blanket had holes in it. Breakfast was ok. Same food for 4 days. Staff was nice. "

"This hotel has fallen a great deal since it was featured as 007's home-away-from-home in LIVE AND LET DIE! I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, and it just keeps getting worse. This most recent stay was just after Mardi Gras, so I was patient. I spent 3 nights. No hot water, broken elevators, fitness and pool closed and my room was never serviced by housekeeping. I was charged for drinks at the bar I never ordered and the newly refurbished Rib Room was VERY AVERAGE. GET IT TOGETHER OMNI!!!"
