"For a one night work trip, I couldn’t fault the location and cleanliness of the hotel, it did exactly what I needed and on one of the hottest days of the year, the lack of windows and great air con were greatly appreciated. If I were to stay here for more than one night then I’d miss having a hairdryer and tv in my room but for the price, it’s more than I expected (especially when other “cheap” hotels were being priced at over £300 per night). Would definitely recommend."

"Such an amazing hotel! The room was clean and had a lovely view of the Thames, right opposite Canary Wharf. You could get a boat to the other side where there was better transport links as the pier was right beside the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and for around £20 extra for 2 people it was great. Would highly recommend!"

"The location is top notch, really easy to te t around. Next to the Natural History and Victoria & Albert museums, short walk to Hyde Park, and well connected to public transportation especially to/from Heathrow (picadilly line). The hotel is dated, and during my stay London was in the middle of a heat wave with temperatures ranging from 80 to 100 throughout the day. On my first night, the AC in my room was not working and the staff said that the hotel was fully booked and they would move me to a different room the next day. I had a rough night, needless to say. However, the AC in the second room was working fine! Other guests had the same issue with their rooms and they were given portable fans since there were no rooms available."

"We were given a fan and a room “cooler” which helped ease the heat. The breakfast was good and we received 2 for 1 twice. The single price is pretty high. We received 14 pounds for not having our room serviced for 2 days. We used this in the take away bakery. The location was great with a Thames river view right next to the Tower Bridge. We were close to the bus stop for hop on hop off"
