「A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. 「Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive.
