"Fantastic hotel. The staff was excellent. They patiently let me practice my B1 German on them. And the location literally could not be better—well, I suppose the hotel could be located in the middle of the Pergamon, but excluding that, the location couldn’t be better. Also, Berlin is an incredible city. Why it’s not on the top of everyone’s bucket list, I’ll never understand. And the people? I thought Germans were supposed to be cold and rude. Without exception, every encounter I had with anyone was warm and friendly. Some of the nicest people anywhere."
