The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were a lot of people hanging around drinking and smoking outside. The parking lot is well lit and there are several food choices in the area.

I chose this hotel for the location to an event. The staff was very nice, the beds and bathroom were clean; the beds are a firm mattress on a metal frame that makes noise with every move. I'm glad I had my own towels because bath towels are child size. For price and location I would stay again.

It's been very good. All the noise subsides at a good hour, I think around 10:30 or 11:00 p.m., in order to get plenty of rest.

Good value and location for my purposes.

This hotel was within reasonably close distance to the Lakeland Linder airport where the annual Sun-n-Fun convention is held, which I was attending. The room was remarkably clean relative to what I was expecting for the price and the interior had obviously been refurbished not too long ago. The clientele is a little loud and there seemed to be a lot of traveling work crews staying there, so it was not a family-vacation type of crowd.

It was clean, we could walk to the downtown for the event. Easy parking, the walk up to our room was a little inconvenient since there was only one stairway and it was not near our room.

My husband and I needed a getaway for the weekend. Its a very cute place, calm and pretty quiet. Staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. I made a review regarding seeing (and killing) a roach, and the next day they were treating the rooms and grounds!! We are already making plans to bring the kids and have a family getaway as well!!

Minor complaints

When e we go to Bartow we usually stay there and it is good. This time we didn’t have enough hot water for us to get a bath/shower. Usually get the same room because we know what it is like. But this time same room but the beds were really firm/hard. No ottoman to go with the chair.
