"We did enjoy our stay,the breakfast was great! We had two rooms w/ a balcony that overlooked the pond. Just to mention, the outdoor lights were covered w/ dead bugs and one room the carpet was wet during our entire stay and the other room's carpet was dirty, our socks quickly turned black."

"This was our first experience in a Japanese hotel. We’ve never traveled to Japan, but this was the next best thing. The entire hotel was decorated and designed to Japanese standards. The gift shop sells authentic kimonos, Sake, teas, fans, shoes etc. There are lanterns outside every other room, gently lighting the hallways. Hospitality was outstanding. We were always greeted with smiles and pleasant conversations. The calming atmosphere at registration was exactly what we needed after a very long day of travel. One thing to note about the room, there are no drawers to use for your clothing or other items. A very small hanging area with a few shelves was it. It worked for us but just a surprise. Beds were extremely comfortable. The huge soaking tub and walking shower were very luxurious. (They even sell bath bombs in the gift shop!!) We would definitely stay at CedarTree in Hillsboro OR again."
