This place was great overall, the staff was kind and the breakfast was the best we have seen in awhile. We stayed here for three nights, and the breakfast changed a bit each morning.. that's a nice touch. The coffee was good, the beds were comfortable, the TV was modern with apps, and the rooms were clean. Very nice so far. Here's why I had to leave a less than great review.
1) No room service. They stated at the counter that it was every other day, and we had none during our 3 day stay. Bummer deal.
2) We were treated to a surprise $12 per night parking fee. The front counter person cautiously explained that it was listed on the hotel page. It was, under "Optional Extras" at the bottom of the page past all of the room options. If your counter person is embarrassed, something needs to change. Don't shock your customers, just raise the rates of the rooms.
3) Lastly, put microwaves in all of the rooms. If there is a fridge in there, there needs to be a microwave too. I get it, it's in the lobby, but it's not what anyone is hoping for.
To be honest, we'd definitely come back. There are more pros than cons. It's just a bit confusing with nickel and dime nonsense and a whoopsie on the lack of housekeeping. This is a five star establishment.
