"This hotel is in a very walkable area, I walked most placed I visited during my trip. Lots of coffee shops near by and restaurants. They gave me a $10 credit per night to get food and drinks from the bar. It's not enough to cover much entirely but definitely helped. I enjoyed my stay here and enjoyed people watching from the balcony. It does suck that there is no smoking on the balcony though as the hotel is smoke-free. "

"Place was neat and clean. Very conveniently located smack in the downtown area. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Easy accesss to public transportation too. "

"The Nines lives up to its name. It's a destination spot even for locals who want to go to their restaurants. The food was impeccable and they had a very caring staff. Would definitely go back."

"The section I was assigned to was an older room that had been upgraded. The street light was directly outside the window and the drapes were too thin to block the light. The bathroom light was connected to the very LOUD fan which you could hear from other rooms. Air conditioning. And on and off like most upgraded hotel/motels. The $12 credit was laughable. Absolutely nothing that I would eat or use, cup of noodles and Rice Krispie treats? Seriously. It was cheap as I was on a quick trip, but would not recommend."

"The restaurant is a little overpriced and the menu should have added Pancake and Waffle. "

"Always love staying a the Benson. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Love the valet service. Restaurant has great food and service. Hotel is beautiful and love the walk ability to restaurants shopping."

"Staff was great and super friendly. My complaints are that the room was not super clean. The bathroom sink was filthy, and you could see water stains on the shower from previous use. A lot of the walls had noticeable paint chips and the bed frames were extremely worn out and pealing. Also, although the elevator says you cannot use it without a keycard 99% of the time you could go in and press a button without scanning the card and it would work. From a safety standpoint I wasn’t a fan of that. As far as location this hotel is very central to downtown and it was $35 a day to park in the garage which was cheaper and safer that areas near by I felt."
