The room (a small double) was beautiful and looked out onto the main room. Bed was comfy and had a great night's sleep. Only 2 issues, plug sockets are all very low to the carpet and I struggled to use them, as I have health issues. Other issue was the shower. 「What a fantastic place to homebase on Arran. This was early in our trip and it really set the stage. Brian was such a great breakfast host, always brining a cheery start to our days. Room was fantastic. The only complaint was that the internet was horrible. This wasn't a huge deal overall, but it was a bit inconvenient when trying to look up various activities and places we wanted to explore. Apart from that, 110%.」

「Carpet has never been cleaned. Shower drainage blocked. The door key snapped when I tried to unlock. They wanted me to pay £90 for the key. The room smelled bad. It’s a guest house for people with no standards 」

「Fab well appointed little Gem is what the Burlington Guest House is. The location is brilliant and the bus stops 1 minute from the guest house. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a great size and the sea view was fab. The Breakfast has a varied menu which caters for everybody and is delicious and well presented and perfectly cooked by Duncan.
