"I stayed at three hotels on my last trip to Greece, they were all good but Kronos was the star. It had a good air-conditioning, good wifi, a great shower with fantastic water pressure and a really good breakfast buffet (the yogurt is particularly good). It's also located in a very beautiful and convenient part of town. There's really good restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel. The Venetian castle, historical centre and bus to Knossos are all less than 5 minutes away. But the best part is the staff. They respond to emails promptly, are courteous, speak fluent English and were available to assist whenever asked asked. Kronos hotel is a true hidden gem amongst Heraklion hotels.."

"We booked here for an overnight as we were awaiting our ferry. The hotel is new and clean and the staff is professional and helpful. However, some rooms (including the one we were given) are not sufficiently insulated against internal and external noise. Ours was located on the mezzanine floor directly next to the breakfast restaurant with our room door directly across from the service station. In addition, there was a party next to the hotel until late into the night. Between the two, we could only manage a few hours sleep between 3am and 7am."

"This is a bigger hotel that seems to cater to business travelers rather than offering a European hotel experience. Lots of little amenities. Very clean and nice. Dining at the hotel was expensive. We left before breakfast opened but they put together a box breakfast that was very nice to have for our travels. 15 minute walk to the port. The port here was not as charming as the one in Chania but if you are leaving by ferry, it seems this property is a quiet and comfortable option. You cannot walk to the ferry however with luggage."

"I told my daughters to europe as a graduation present and our 1st stop at Athina Palace Resort and Spa was amazing. When we checked in after midnight, they had a light dinner and wine waiting for us. The staff was responsive, helpful, friendly and professional. The resort was clean and the food was delicious. My only small complaint is a more consistent schedule for the shuttle service around the resort. Other than that, everything was perfect!"
