Clean and beautiful hotel
Hotel is clean with beautiful landscape. Reception staff was patience despite the language barrier. They managed to help our friends change to a non smoking floor as the floor they were originally assigned smell of smoke from guests smoking from ground floor. The buffet dinner was great, with free flow of beer, soju and wine. Desserts was excellent. Onsen was great too though the bath house looks a bit run down. But it was clean. Lots of parking space for those who drive. The only downside is that it is hard to find restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Free family activities like badminton, table tennis, putter. Nice onsen as well. Room is slightly smaller than what we expected for a resort though. Friendly staff. Overall great stay.

I'll stay there again.
3 star hotel...tried but true...nothing too fancy, but more than good enough. Fantastic view. Located on a golf course. Cheaper than kurokawa. Onsen is pretty good.

Relaxing hot-spring time
It was not located in the centre of Aso. It would be better to drive and stay in this hotel. The check-in procedure was clear and quick. We chose the room with two beds, which was very clean and comfortable. It also had the hot spring, which opened in the morning and evening. I had a relaxing time while enjoying the hot spring. If you don't mind driving to this hotel, it would be a great choice for those to travel to Aso.

This is a golf resort, a good location to have peace and quiet. Hotel is quite old and no one assisted to show us to the room. Room that is crater-facing has very nice scenic view. No nearby shops, hotel is only accessible by car.

The hotel is quite far from City but it is okay for driving. The hotel and rooms are big. Yet, its facilities are aged. It provides hot spring but we have not utilized it. In addition, it seems full of tour groups. On the other hand, I have made a reservation for 2 single bed room by Expedia mobile app. Unlike Expedia website, the default booking is for 1 adult only. The hotel would like to charge me an additional fee even it is a 2 single bed booking already. It is quite strange to me.

Hotel located inside a golf course - very scenic
The hotel was set up long time ago, so the internal fixtures and fittings look old but not shabby. The design and decorations are typical Japanese western style. We booked for the dinner buffet @ 4000 yen per person at the hotel restaurant upon check-in as the hotel is situated in quite remote location, no other choice around. A good decision to make as the dinner buffet was good with a wide range of food to select including Chinese, Japanese and Korean cooking and with unlimited supply of long legged crab and delicious beef steak. The breakfast buffet was included in our room booking. The food quality and presentation was acceptable. All in all, a good experience to stay in this hotel.

A Large Golf Onsen Hotel
The reception does not provide an extra electronic room key which is strange when we had 3 people in a room. Since my wife and I spent the time at the onsen differently, thus I need to wait for her at the onsen. The room is very small and we have the view of the forest which wasn't great.

Reasonable price with facilities
Room is a bit old, but the price is low. You can enjoy the hot spring. Carpark is enough , the breakfast is not bad at all.

great first impression but it didn't last long
The entrance driving into the actual hotel was quite impressive. Very manicured. You feel like you're about to drive into a mansion. However I found the rooms were not nearly as impressive as the rest. It wasn't bad but it wasn't special. The balcony was a bit dirty in fact. We did laundry with the machine but one cycle wasn't strong enough to actually dry your clothes. The onset was decent, you do have to walk outside for a slight second to get there so be aware if you're visiting during colder months or late at night. They provided lots of different types of moisturizers if you're into that kind of thing. HOWEVER, if you're vegan, just remember the shampoo/body wash they use are all with horse oil. Yes, horse. Be aware if that is not your thing. If you like to golf, this is your place. The course is quite stunning with a view of the mountains. You get a 180 view of it in the dining room. There were a lot of varieties in terms of breakfast. But I think I personally got sick from it because everything was out in the open without covers.

we booked 3 rooms and one of the rooms smell bad. Initially the staff was not willing to exchange the room for us but finally he agreed to give us a new room. Unfortunately the exchanged rooom also smelled bad. The hotel is a bit old but the hotspring is okay.
