"The room was clean but we and an end room with a weird barn type door type to the bathroom that was hard to open and close and poor lighting in the room. Last year the breakfast was included and this year it cost $15 per person plus $10 for parking. We had to find out later that there was free parking on the street and the lot next door. The much appreciated ride to the track and back was still available and walking distance to town was also a plus."

"The room was clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a nice view of the lake. There was a Murphy bed and foldout sofa. The Murphy bed was adequate but fairly hard. We weee there for the Arkansas Derby so the town was very full and neighbors were very noisy. I still would stay here again."

"Hotel has no pantry, all vending machines out of order, hot tub out of order, breakfast wasn't up to other H.I s breakfast, but still charged full price which is higher than other similar hotels in area "

"When we arrived at 11pm that night. Doors were locked knocked for 15 mins. Thank goodness another person staying at the hotel seen us and let us in. Guy behind the counter didn’t care, didn’t greet us, didn’t apologize, very cold and borderline rude. This is our second year staying at this hotel and I’m not sure if we’ll book again when we come back next year. the morning lady who also stocked the breakfast was absolutely amazing and gave our daughter some food to feed the turtles. Room was clean, water didn’t get hot in the shower. Friendliness and customer service will go a long way. Don’t know who the guy behind the counter was at night, but he absolutely sucks at his job. I don’t even care if he owns the hotel. "

"A bit out of the hustle and bustle but well worth it for a nice stay. Our only complaint was that the commode was vry low. "
