「The best stay we had on our trip. The staff was incredible sweet and accommodating. Daniela gave us many recommendations for things to do and we even ran into her on the beach and she told us where to go snorkelling to see the bubbles from the ground. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooftop terrace was also a very nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.」

「We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. 」

「Via Roma on Ischia begins in the port. Hotel Conte is at the start and continues close to shore bringing you to the point. It has so many places to eat and shop that you don't need a car unless you want to explore other parts of island. I stayed 2 weeks and I was completely satisfied during my stay Staff were polite and accommodating. Rooms cleaned every day and spotless. I would definitely stay there again. 「One of the worst experience we have in a hotel. Furniture is rather old, the shower stall is small and its base leaks water. We had floods after our showers. We noticed small insects on our first night and thought that was isolated incidents. The second day we found the "headquarter" of the ants under the table. It is not a decent hotel at all, it is a only a "so so" hostel. 」

「We arrived via the boat from Capri and this hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the marina....we made the mistake of paying for a taxi cab which was ridiculous. one tip.....print out a map before you arrive so you can find the motel even though it's super easy. Great location to restaurants, beach, etc. We got a view room but probably did not need to spend the extra money as the hotel is about 5 blocks from the water so the water view wasn't necessary. We would stay here again.....nice big...
