「Room is spacious and sparkling clean with nice view of the lake. It is an old building in traditional renovation. If you like the atmosphere of staying in an old English house you will definitely love it. We had a nice and quiet break from busy life there. Breakfast was nicely served. Close walking distance to hiking trail. It's a few minutes drive from town centre.」

「Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

「We had a delightful time at the Troutbrook Inn. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, plus they were certainly dog friendly. As this was my first time travelling with my dogs this was so reassuring. Would certainly book again if making a return visit to the area. 」
