Staff were friendly and helpful from checking in to food services. Room was a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with choices on a pre ordered menu which meant service was perfect. Views of mountains from some rooms and also from outside sitting area. Options to dine in the evening available with a good choice of food and highly recommend the steak pie. Lovely quiet location and perfect for visiting places

The whole experience was wonderful. Food was spot on. Beverages hit the spot. The room was wonderful. Our time spent here gave us the break from our day to day grind. We left more relaxed than we have ever been on holiday. Just wonderful!

Loved our stay at the Troutbeck inn! Staff seemed hardworking and very busy but remained friendly and approachable at all times. Our stay was very quiet and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great and, though I'm never normally a full English person at breakfast, I had one of theirs as my partner's breakfast looked cracking on the first morning (and mine didn't disappoint!) It's in a good location for Keswick or if you're bagging Wainwrights nearby. We also booked a table for food one night (they get busy) and the pie and sticky toffee pud to follow were fair decent. Highly recommend!

Clean room. Few spider webs but it is an old property. I personally found bed very soft and uncomfortable. Felt the place was run to suit the staff more than the customer. Food was okay. Had dinner and breakfast. If I’m in the area again it’s not somewhere I’d choose to stay.

The single room and the bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was a really good size. There was plenty of storage space, and tea and coffee facilities were great. I ate in the restaurant for two nights and both my meals were delicious. Nikki is very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay.
