The mattress was not comfortable at all. We switched to sleeping toward the end of the bed and what was a little better. It’s warm in there and ceiling fan doesn’t help very much. We did find a standing fan in our closet and used it. It helped but we ended up sleeping with the top sheet only and skipped...

「Our room was very clean and well-maintained. The air conditioner worked great and cooled the room with ease, which is extremely important this time of year in Florida. The beds were comfortable. There is coffee available at the front office. The family that manages the property lives on site, and are kind and polite. This is a wonderful place to stay, in a convenient location to town and beaches, that will not break your budget. 」

「I’ll never stay anywhere else when I’m Apalachicola. For a couple with different sleep habits it’s worth the little extra money to have a bedroom separate from the living area, a kitchen and such a relaxing screened patio on the river to relax at while waiting for them to wake up! 」
